Microsoft 365

The web applications on Microsoft 365 Online include the online versions of Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneDrive, as well as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio. Office Online is an independent web application and can be used by anyone with a Microsoft account free of charge and regardless of the operating system. Depending on the tariff, there are also the desktop versions of the Office applications with more functions, as well as Access, Publisher and, most recently, Teams as online and desktop versions.

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system. Microsoft markets at least a dozen different editions of MS SQL Server, aimed at different audiences and for workloads ranging from small single-machine applications to large Internet-facing applications with many concurrent users.

Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing. MS Azure users use IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Providers of cloud computing provide applications and databases that can be used network-based. The user’s own files are also no longer on their own computer, but on the provider’s servers.
